The Huglu Atrox PA is a pump action, 12 gauge shotgun made in Turkey. I bought it as a super cheap pump gun to use in PAL courses.

Huglu Atrox Versions Compared
Of the trim levels, they vary based on sights and whatnot. They come in standard stocks, telescoping, folding telescopic, or pistol grip. They also offer a few different color options.
- Atrox Basic: Basic white dot front sight
- Atrox Standard: Fibre optic front sight, may come with interchangeable chokes
- Atrox Tactic: Iron sights, top receiver rail, extended chokes, pump with rail room on it
- Atrox Tactic Plus: metal heat shield on top
Huglu Atrox Specifications
- 12 gauge, 3″ chamber, 20″ barrel
- 6.2 lbs (pretty light!)
- 7+1 capacity
- Steel sling swivels (fixed, no stud)
This shotgun, as configured (fixed cylinder choke, 7 round tube), isn’t super useful. If you’re going to buy a shotgun like this, consider:
- Get a shotgun with a plug if you want to hunt waterfowl
- Interchangeable chokes if you want to use it for action shooting or hunting
For 3 gun, you definitely want interchangeable chokes. The 7+1 capacity isn’t too bad but other pump shotgun users have enormous magazine tubes that hold 12-15 rounds.
Using the Huglu Atrox
The action on it is pretty decent: smooth enough and easy to pump back and forth. The forend goes back pretty far so it’ll be easy enough for those with shorter arms to use.
I really like the larger action release button in front of the trigger guard. Yeah, it might get bumped if you were out and about with it but it’s so damn convenient to use.
