I was kind of hoping that the English stuff would beat the German ammo, but given that we were comparing practice ammo to match ammo, I’m not sure it was even a fair comparison anyways. Eley was the only bullet in our Great 2014 22LR test that had a light colored lead bullet. Not sure if that’s a different plating, lube, or bullet lead mix, but it was cool to look at. It also came in one of the beefiest boxes: an all plastic affair with sliding top. It felt like a waste throwing it away.
Eley Practice Accuracy
On the plus side, this “practice” ammo beat out RWS Club and SK Standard Plus in our comparison, but it was ultimately bested by CCI Green Tag and SK Rifle Match. It was one of the only types that the Browning T-Bolt really loved.
