Relatively unloved by most of our test rifles except the Norinco NS522, Remington Thunderbolt has some good things going for it that should have translated to accuracy: a simple, unplated lead bullet construction. In terms of a high speed (1260 FPS) 40 grain offering, I preferred the CCI Mini-Mags.
Second worst overall accuracy among the high velocity offerings. It doesn’t mean it won’t be a champ in your rifle, it just means that we didn’t get fantastic groups out of it in ours. At least it was much better than the Winchester Super Speed RN.
